A 30-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a passenger car. The accident occurred on Wednesday evening in Niebuszewo, Szczecin. The circumstances are being investigated by the police and prosecutor's office. It is known that the 28-year-old driver of the car was sober.
In Szczecin on Wednesday evening there was a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger car at the intersection of Ofiar Oświęcimia Street and Cyryla i Metodego Street in the Niebuszew district.
– As a result of the accident, a man riding a motorcycle died. He was resuscitated for a very long time, but he could not be saved – informed the press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Szczecin, Senior Superintendent Anna Gembala. The injured person was first helped by witnesses to the accident, and later by medical rescue teams. The deceased was 30 years old. The car was driven by a 28-year-old woman, she was sober.
The circumstances are being investigated.
It is not yet known in what exact circumstances the incident occurred. The police will investigate under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
– It's too early to talk about the causes, who was responsible for the accident – Gembala emphasized. – There are witnesses, we will question them. Maybe there will be some materials from monitoring. We will definitely also use the expert's opinion – she added.
