The police detained the caravan driver for control. Instead of his own, the 35-year-old gave the officers a brother's data. However, he confused the middle name. It quickly came to light, why he wanted to hide his identity – he was wanted. He was also under the influence of intoxicants and had a lifetime ban on driving.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning in Szczecin. Road traffic policemen on Eskadrowa Street detained caravans for control. The driver tried to mislead officers by providing his brother's data.
– Lack of knowledge of basic data, even the second name, resulted in the fact that the police did not believe in its version – says asp. Ewelina Gryszpan from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Szczecin.
The police found a document confirming his true identity. In addition, they took fingerprints from him. It turned out that he was a 35 -year -old resident of the Gryfice poviat – he was wanted by the Stargard prosecutor's office to determine the place of stay.

– However, this was not the end of this man's offenses. In our systems there was also information that it had active driving bans, including one lifetime ban – adds Gryszpan.

The caravan did not have valid technical research, which is why officers detained electronically the registration certificate.
The 35-year-old was detained and was sent to police custody. Now his case will be dealt with by the court.
