Between Bagienna and Struga streets in Szczecin, a public transport bus collided with a passenger car. One person was trapped in the car and was pulled out by firefighters. Four of the 25 passengers on the bus were injured and were given first aid. Three people in the passenger car were also injured. The police, ambulance service and fire department are working on the scene.
The accident occurred on Sunday (September 22) before 10 a.m. between Bagienna and Struga streets in Szczecin. A public transport bus collided with a passenger car.
Senior Captain Franciszek GoliÅ„ski, spokesman for the municipal headquarters of the State Fire Service in Szczecin, said that one person was trapped in the vehicle. “Firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to pull her out,” he added.
Junior Sergeant PaweÅ‚ Pankau, spokesman for the Szczecin police, said that seven people received medical assistance. “They were three people from the passenger car and four people from the bus,” he added.
A total of 25 people travelled on the bus.
Four fire engines, police and ambulance services are working on site. Traffic in the area is difficult.
