In the left -bank part of Szczecin from the morning there were interference in the supply of heat and hot water. This was related to the failure in the Pomorzany CHP plant. After 17 o'clock the failure was reported.
On Thursday, Szczecin thermal energy informed about the case. – The Pomeranian CHP plant currently does not provide heat to the heating system of Szczecin. Therefore, there are disturbances in heat and hot water supplies, especially in the left -bank part of the city, in the northern areas of the left bank, at the ends of the network. These are the most sensitive areas at the moment – said Danuta Misztal spokeswoman on Thursday.
According to Pomeranian CHP plant, SEC has launched all its own heat sources in emergency mode and maximized heat supplies from other available external sources to minimize heat deficiencies resulting from failure.
After 17 o'clock Szczecin thermal energy informed that the supplies of heat and hot water were resumed.
“We would like to inform you that the failure in the Pomorzany CHP plant was removed and after 17.00 the heat supply to the heating network has been restored. Heating and warm water will reach the recipients successively in the next few hours, because the cooling heating system requires time to return to full efficiency “.
