The weather is favorable for cyanobacteria

Restrictions on the use of water attractions were introduced at the Dąbie bathing area already in June and twice at the end of July. The bathing ban was related to the detection of E.coli bacteria in the water, and most recently, to the bloom of cyanobacteria. – High temperature and calm weather are conducive to the bloom of cyanobacteria – Małgorzata Kapłan, spokeswoman for the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Szczecin, told PAP.
