Two cars collided on Saturday evening in Szczecin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). One of the cars hit a group of pedestrians standing in front of the crossing. Among the injured are children.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. Two cars collided at the intersection of Szczaniecka and Emilii Plater streets in Szczecin.
– As a result of this collision, one of the vehicles drove onto the sidewalk where a group of people were standing waiting for the green light to cross the road. As a result of the incident, three minors required medical care, but their injuries were not life-threatening, said Paweł Pankau, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Szczecin.

According to preliminary findings, one of the cars did not yield the right of way.
Three fire brigades, an ambulance team and the police worked on site.
