Szczecin. There are allegations for soldiers who were supposed to appropriated and sell military property

The investigation is conducted by the Military Police Department in Szczecin and supervised by the prosecutor from the 8th Department of Military Affairs of the District Prosecutor's Office in Poznań. A spokesman for the Poznań prosecutor's office, Łukasz Wawrzyniak, said that it was about the appropriation of military property in order to achieve property benefits, in the period from July 4, 2024 to February 13, 2025.

“Officers of the Military Gendarmerie branch in Szczecin detained three perpetrators responsible for the appropriation and sale of military property, a soldier serving professional military service as a captain as the head of the uniformed service of the 15th Military Economic Department in Szczecin, a civil employee of the 15th Military Economic Department in Szczecin employed as a warehouse manager and civilian – an entrepreneur from the poviat Radomski ” – we read in a statement of the prosecutor's office.

Appropriated elements of uniform and military equipment were recovered.

The Poznań prosecutor's office presented three people with accusations of lacquer in relation to property of considerable value, exceeding official rights and confirmation of untruth.

– All suspects confessed to committing the alleged acts and explained to the case – said Wawrzyniak.

The suspects were applied to a property surety, suspension in official duties, devotion to supervision, a ban on contacting other suspects and a ban on leaving the place of stay for more than five days.
