Szczecin. They cut out the upholstery from the back and seats on the tram

From one of Szczecin trams, upholstery was cut out of the backs and seats. The company to which the vehicle belongs estimated losses at five thousand zlotys. It is not known why – immortalized on the recording of the monitoring camera – a pair cut fragments of material. The police were notified of the case.

The incident occurred on April 26 this year at the afternoon at the Gocław loop in Szczecin. Now the Szczecin trams have announced the case. Wojciech Jachim, the company's spokesperson, said that the internal monitoring of tram number 6 tram, immortalized the middle -aged pair that got into the wagon and went to the depot.

– When the wagon was deserted, the couple “scalpped” eight backs and two seats. It took them less than a minute. They put the captured upholstery in the bag and got off. The cutouts cover almost the entire surface of the backs and seats, they have a regular rectangular shape, as if the perpetrators wanted to obtain as much material as possible – he described.

It is not known why the material obtained in this way. The spokesperson called the event “a mysterious act of devastation.”

The losses were estimated at five thousand zlotys. Szczecin trams reported the police.
