A 44-year-old driver was stopped by police after overtaking at an intersection and well over the speed limit. The man lost his driving license, received a fine of PLN 3.5 thousand, as well as 25 penalty points.
Police officers patrolling the village of Szówsko (Podkarpackie Voivodeship) on Sunday noticed on ul. Lubelska speeding Chrysler. The driver first overtook other vehicles at the intersection, and then accelerated to 137 kilometers per hour.
PLN 3.5 thousand fine and penalty points
The police managed to stop the Chrysler. – A 44-year-old resident of the Wiązownica commune, who was driving this vehicle, was fined PLN 3.5 thousand and received 25 penalty points for the offenses committed. He also lost his driving license for exceeding the speed limit in a built-up area by 87 kilometers per hour, police said.
The maximum permissible speed in the built-up area during the day is 50 kilometers per hour. Police remind you that excessive speed is one of the main causes road accidentswhich often ends tragically.
