A 26-year-old woman and her three-year-old child were taken to hospital as a result of an accident that occurred in Krawce (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). The 26-year-old lost control of the steering wheel and drove into the canal. She was carrying two small children.
The accident occurred on Friday (October 20) after 8 a.m. in Krawce. According to the police, a 26-year-old woman driving a Volkswagen did not adjust her speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and drove into the canal.
The woman and a three-year-old child were taken to hospital
– Her two children, aged three and six, were traveling with the woman. The 26-year-old woman and the younger child were taken to hospital for tests, said Subinspector Beata Jędrzejewska-Wrona, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Tarnobrzeg.
The police determined that the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen was sober.
The police appeal for caution
Officers urge caution. – Let us remember that not adjusting the speed to the conditions on the road, i.e. traffic intensity, road surface condition, weather conditions, is one of the most common causes of road accidents – reminded sub-inspector Beata Jędrzejewska-Wrona.
