Taliban gather ammo weapons from civilians after takeover: report

Vowing that they won’t “hurt harmless civilians,” the Taliban have began to gather weapons and ammunition from Afghan civilians in Kabul, a report stated.

Reuters, citing a Taliban official, reported that the group stated folks within the metropolis will not want to carry onto their weapons as a result of they not want private safety.

“They will now really feel protected,” the official advised the outlet.

Reuters spoke to at least one enterprise proprietor who stated Taliban fighters already visited his office to inquire about the place his safety crew retains its weapons.

Spike Cohen, the 2020 vice-presidential nominee for the Libertarian Celebration, retweeted the headline and posted, “’Give us your weapons. We’ll defend you’ –Each authorities that’s about to commit mass homicide ever.”

The Taliban captured an array of recent army gear once they overran Afghan forces who didn’t defend district facilities.
