The police from Tarnobrzeg (Podkarpacie) detained a 21-year-old man and his 16-year-old companion. They are both suspected of breaking windows in the bus shelter. They drove away from the scene, departing with a random, stopped driver. They were captured a few minutes later.
Two residents of Tarnobrzeg on Thursday morning bought alcohol at one of the petrol stations and consumed it in the area of ul. Orląt Lwowskich in Tarnobrzeg. As the police found out, they destroyed the windows in the bus shelter in the vicinity. – The men fled the scene, leaving with an accidental driver who was stopped on a “hitch”. The policemen were alerted about the act of vandalism, and they immediately dealt with the matter. They established the description of the perpetrators and began their search, says Beata Jędrzejewska-Wrona, press officer of the Tarnobrzeg police.

The wanted people were recognized and arrested a few minutes later at the station. – They were two residents of Tarnobrzeg, aged 16 and 21. The older man was under a strong influence of alcohol. Testing with the device showed over 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his body – said the spokeswoman.
After sobering up, the 21-year-old was charged with property damage, for which he could face up to five years in prison. The teenager will answer in a family court.
– The resulting losses were estimated at PLN 3.5 thousand – adds the policewoman.
