A Polish mountaineer who fell from the Żabi Koń mountain in the Slovak Tatras on Saturday has died, informed the Slovak Mountain Rescue Service, Horska Zachranna Służba (HZS).
The fall of the mountaineer from Żabi Horse was reported to the mountain rescuers on Saturday afternoon. According to the HZS message, the details of the event are not known. The climber fell from the vicinity of the summit several hundred meters and stopped by the wall by the stone rubble.

The mountaineer died
It was found by two HZS rescuers who flew to the Mięguszowiecka Valley on board the helicopter. The body of the deceased was taken to the morgue in Stary Smokowiec, where it was handed over to the policemen.
There are no hiking trails leading to the top of the Żabi Horse.
