The longer time of sending PIT declarations using the Your e-PIT service may be the result of a large number of taxpayers logging in at the same time, Justyna Pasieczyńska, spokeswoman for the head of KAS, told PAP on Tuesday. She noted that there was no system failure on Tuesday.
Tuesday, May 2, is the last day to file your tax return PIT for 2022 The Ministry of Finance reminded on its website that it can be done through the Your e-PIT service, the e-Declarations system or in paper form. On Tuesday, information appeared on social media that there were problems with sending the declaration via the Internet.
The Ministry of Finance assures that there was no failure
Ministry of Finance informed PAP that on Tuesday there was no failure of the Your e-PIT system.
– The longer time of submitting declarations may be the result of logging in by a large number of taxpayers who want to settle at the last minute – said the spokeswoman of the Head CASH Justyna Pasieczynska. Your e-PIT works around the clock and can be used on any device connected to the Internet. Access to the service is possible only in the e-Tax Office (e-US), on the website biznes.gov.pl. You can log in to the e-Tax Office with a Trusted Profile (PZ), e-ID, via electronic banking or the mObywatel application. In addition to the service itself, you can also log in with your tax data.
You can also settle using paper forms. You can, for example, fill in a tax return in the e-Declarations system and print it out, or settle directly on a paper form, which, for example, can be taken from the nearest tax office.
Such a paper return can be submitted directly to the tax office or sent by post – in both cases it must be done before the end of the day. In the case of statements sent by post, the date of the postmark is decisive.
