PIT for 2024 can be settled only for three days. The final date for submitting the income tax declaration expires on Wednesday, April 30. The testimony can be sent electronically or on paper and submitted to the tax office or sent by post.

Taxpayers who pay personal income tax must submit declarations for 2024 by the end of April. This deadline expires on Wednesday, April 30. Until then, the tax return must be submitted by both persons employed on an employment contract and entrepreneurs settling as natural persons, regardless of the form of taxation they chose.

To submit a testimony for 2024, you can use the e-Declaration page, where tax forms are available. After completing the form, you can send it electronically.

Your e-pit service. What does it contain?

Another way to testify is the Twój e-PiT service. Taxpayers will find pre -completed tax returns there. They contain data from PIT-11 forms sent by employers. These declarations also contain some of the discounts, including Relief for childrenexemptions from Pit For people up to 26 years of age, for 4+ families, for working seniors, for people returning from abroad, deductions from membership contributions to trade unions. However, if the taxpayer uses other concessions, he should complete the data.

People who do not use tax breaksthey can simply accept the testimony. They can also do nothing, because such pre-completed declarations from the Twój e-PiT service will be automatically accepted and considered to be submitted at the end of the last day of April.

How to log in to your e-pit?

You can log in to your e-PIP service using a trusted profile, mobile, personal e-escort and via electronic banking, as well as using tax data (you need to enter the PESEL number or NIP and the amount of revenues obtained in the year indicated by the system).

Tax declarations can also be submitted in paper form, directly at each tax office (regardless of where they settle) or sent by post. In the latter case, whether they were submitted on time, the date of posting is determined, not the date of receipt of the testimony by the tax authorities.
