British police said there was no indication the planned attack on Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna would have any impact on her return to Wembley Stadium in London, where the American singer is due to play five shows there next week.
Taylor Swift's three concerts in Vienna scheduled for August 8, 9 and 10, which were to attract 195,000 fans, have been canceled. Austrian authorities said they had detained suspects in connection with planning the attack. “We have no other choice but to cancel the three planned concerts for the good, safety of everyone,” the organizer wrote on his Instagram channel.
As part of her ongoing “The Eras Tour”, the American star already performed in London in June, after playing shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff.
Swift is set to return to Wembley Stadium for five shows on Aug. 15. She will then fly to North America for her final shows.
