Policemen from Tczew (Pomeranian Voivodeship) detained two chocolate lovers. After the theft, the men hurriedly left the store and ran into the officers. It turned out that they had already had burglary sentences before.
According to the Poviat Police Headquarters in Tczew, on October 6, before 6 p.m., policemen near one of the self-service stores noticed two men who were leaving the store in a hurry. The officers decided to check what was the reason for their nervousness.
They took almost 160 chocolates and dropped in right away
It turned out that they had 157 chocolates in the nets, for which they did not pay. The sweets were worth PLN 600. The goods were returned to the store and the men were taken to the police station.
When checking the personal data of the detainees, it turned out that they were 33- and 34-year-olds who are wanted with restraining orders issued by the District Court in Tczew. Previously, they were convicted of burglary – a 33-year-old for four months in prison, and a 34-year-old for one year and four months in prison.
Both thieves were charged with theft and then taken to a pre-trial detention center, where they would serve their sentences.
