A woman of about 30 gave birth to a child in the back seat of a car. After the birth, police officers from Tczew in Pomerania escorted the car with the mother and the baby. The car was driven by the child's father.

– The police noticed a man standing by the car, waving at them, looking for help (…). It turned out that the man's partner had given birth to a child in the back seat of the car – said on Thursday the press officer of the Tczew police, Sergeant Katarzyna Ożóg.

The incident took place on Wednesday in the village of Śliwiny in Tczew County. – The police officers made a decision without hesitation to escort the family to the hospital. After reporting the situation to the officer on duty, they began the escort – she reported.

The family arrived at the hospital. The policewoman added that the officers returned to the facility that same day to make sure that everything was okay with the woman and her newborn daughter. “Fortunately, both the mother and the child are doing very well,” she assured.
