Ten folks killed after ‘overloaded’ bus falls into gorge in India | World Information

No less than 10 folks had been killed and 55 injured when a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims fell right into a gorge in India.

The bus skidded off a bridge and fell right into a Himalayan gorge close to the town of Jammu in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Tuesday.

It was travelling to the city of Katra from Amritsar within the northern state of Punjab.

These killed had been from India’s japanese Bihar state, police stated.

Officer Chandan Kohli advised reporters the bus was overloaded.

The passengers had been visiting the shrine of Vaishno Devi in Katra, which is extremely revered by Hindus. Tons of of 1000’s of pilgrims go to it yearly.
