During Friday’s Sejm session, there was a clash between Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michał Kołodziejczak and MPs from Law and Justice. They were reprimanded by Marshal Szymon Hołownia, who presided over the meeting. – We are not in kindergarten, I will not determine who started it – he said.
On Friday, Sebastian Łukasiewicz from Law and Justice came to the podium during the Sejm session.
He accused the deputy minister of agriculture, Michał Kołodziejczak, of calling a farmer from the Podlaskie Voivodeship and “started shooting her.” – He sent goons to her house, strong people who told her to remove her video from the Internet. This is a scandal, he said. Opposition MPs shouted: “Bandit.”
Immediately later, Kołodziejczak took the podium. – This is a lie and slander. You cannot lie the truth. President Kaczyński said on June 22, 2022: “Ukrainian grain does not threaten us.” You are responsible for everything that happened. And for these slander… I’ll see you in court – he turned to Łukasiewicz and returned to his seat.
A moment later, however, Kołodziejczak approached the Law and Justice parliamentary benches. There he stood face to face with Łukasiewicz, and there was an uproar in the room. He approached the politicians PiS MP Marek SuskiKołodziejczak turned to him.
There was a heated exchange of opinions, in which Anita Czerwińska (PiS) also participated.
Marshal Szymon Hołownia warned that he was starting the procedure of excluding them from the Sejm sessions. – We’re not in kindergarten, I won’t determine who started it. You can submit an application to the ethics committee or the prosecutor’s office. But the Sejm hall will not be a place for quarrels or brawls. This is not Fight Club, this is the Sejm, he said.
The situation calmed down after a while.
