The woman described that the hour had to stick to the tree and wait for the water to go away enough so that she could enter the hill into the neighbor's house.

– My son and I went to the tree, we stayed, and my boyfriend and the dog sailed away. They got lost for a moment, but we found them – she said.

Matthew Stone from the city of Kerrville reported that the police knocked on his door at 5.30, but he did not receive any warning to his phone.

– We didn't receive any warning. There was nothing – said Stone. And then, as he reported, “black as a tar wall of death” came.

Stone added that the police used his boat to help save a neighbor. He and the rescuers thought they were hearing someone calling for help from the water, but they didn't see anyone.
