The flood in Texas killed at least 50 people. The balance, unfortunately, grows at hour to hour. Among the killed are children. Searching for over 20 participants of the religious camp in Kerr, including many girls, is still underway.
On the night of Thursday to Friday The state of Texas was hit by catastrophic floods. In the area from the city of San Angelo to Kerrville, 100 to even over 250 liters per square meter of rain fell – as much as in a few months.
The most difficult situation so far in Kerr, where the Camp Mystic Christian camp took place. About 750 people took part in it. Some of them were evacuated by helicopters, but many are wanted.
The balance of victims is growing
On Saturday evening (night from Saturday to Sunday in Poland) the sheriff of Kerr said that the number of instant flood fatalities in Texas increased to at least 50, including 15 children. Previously, 32 and then 43 killed were reported. At least 850 people were evacuated or saved – the authorities passed.
The search and rescue operation on site continues. At least 20 people are wanted, including girls who stayed at the Camp Mystic camp. Participants of the camp are also among the deadly victims of floods.

Poles are all and healthy
There were 24 participants in Camp America from Poland at Camp Mystic. Everyone is all and healthy.
The camp was near the Guadalupe River, which at night from Thursday to Friday came from the banks due to heavy rainfall.
Mayor Kerrville Joe Herring announced that the instant flood took place “when people were in beds”.
