Textiles in parcel machines: InPost expands its ecozwroty service. If the clothes are in good condition and can be handed over to the needy, then the company enables free redemption of unnecessary textiles through parcel machines. This is a response to the new EU directive on the need to segregate clothes.

Textiles for PSZOK: According to the new law It is forbidden to throw clothes and textiles into mixed waste containers. The topic raises controversy, we described it widely at next.gazeta.pl. There is a penalty for non -compliance with the regulations – a fee for garbage collection may be increased by up to 100 percent. Textile waste must now be returned to the selective municipal waste collection point (PSZOK). That's not all.
Trouble for municipalities: As we described on Next.gazeta.pl, the municipalities have a problem, because there are no additional funds to collect new textile waste, and there should be at least one such point in each commune. As a result, it may turn out that illegal dumps of used textiles will appear. There is also a fear that Aid containers They can simply turn into dustbins.
Ekozwrots from 2021: InPost ecozwroty program is Implemented together with the Recondant to the Environment Foundation from 2021. Initially, it was possible to use electrical and electronic equipment, and in 2022 new categories have joined: clothing, footwear, children's articles, books and toys. Through the Recover the Environment Foundation, things also go directly to those in need in community clubs, shelters, libraries and other associations.
