Than Boris imprisoned
All this weather turmoil is related to the Genoese low Boris, which is now located over southeastern Poland. As tvnmeteo.pl presenter Tomasz Wasilewski reported on Saturday morning on TVN24, the low pressure system “found itself trapped”.
– It was trapped over southern Poland because it is between two large highs. One is over Russia, the other in western Europe. Boris will not get out of this trap. He has to fall out, it will take him a few days – said the presenter.
How Long Will It Rain? Where Will It Rain the Most?
The weekend will be the most difficult in the Kłodzko Valley, Opole region, southern Silesia and Lower Silesia. According to forecasts, well over 100 liters of rain per square meter may fall there. This means that the hydrological situation in southern Poland will worsen. This will also be influenced by the total rainfall forecast for the Czech Republic.
As the presenter said, the precipitation will begin to weaken on Sunday evening, although light rain may continue until Monday morning.
