In Płock, a 13-year-old driver of a Volkswagen, in which the passengers were a couple more than a dozen years older, both drunk, led to a collision with another car on Friday – informed the Płock police. According to the findings of the officers, after the collision, the minor perpetrator got out of the car and started to run away. He was hit by another vehicle. He was taken to the hospital.

According to the spokeswoman of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Płock, sub-commissioner Marta Lewandowska, preliminary findings show that the 13-year-old was driving a Volkswagen in which the passengers were a 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both under the influence of alcohol – the incident took place on Friday afternoon on one of the streets on the outskirts of the city.

– When the 13-year-old driver of the Volkswagen crashed his car into the back of a Ford, he got out of the car and started to run away. Unfortunately, during this escape, another car, including a Ford, was hit by a passing car. As a result of this event, he was taken to the hospital – said Sub-commissioner Lewandowska. So far, there is no information that the minor suffered more serious injuries – she added.

– Detailed arrangements regarding the circumstances of the event are still ongoing. In the case of a 13-year-old child, further activities must be carried out in the presence of the parents. At that time, blood will be taken from him for tests for alcohol content in the body – emphasized the spokeswoman of the Płock police. As she added, regardless of the results of these studies, the case of the minor who led to the collision will still be dealt with by the family court.
