The 14th pension will be paid together with the September benefit. Pensions are paid on several dates – 1st, 5th, 6th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th of each month. If the payment day falls on a weekend, ZUS transfers money earlier. This is September 1, which falls on a Sunday. Therefore, people who receive a pension on the first day of the month will receive it this year on Friday, August 30. Transfer will be double, because together with the monthly benefit, a fourteenth pension will appear in the account.
14. pension. Soon payments from ZUS. How much is the fourteenth?
14. the pension is equal to the minimum pension benefit. This year, the fourteenth pension is therefore PLN 1,780.96 gross. However, not everyone will receive the full amount. This is only due to people with a pension of up to PLN 2,900 gross. Above this amount, the “zloty for zloty” rule applies. The fourteenth pension is therefore reduced by the amount by which we have exceeded this threshold. However, people who receive more than PLN 4,631 gross in pension cannot count on the payment of an additional benefit.
The minimum fourteenth pension is PLN 50. This means that people with a pension above PLN 4,631 gross will not receive a penny this year. From the 14th pension, a health insurance contribution and an advance payment on PIT will be collected, so the net payment will be lower than the gross amount.
The fourteenth pension will be received by approximately 8.9 million pensioners. The full amount (the amount of the lowest pension) will be paid to 6.4 million people. Benefits higher than PLN 2,900 per month will be received by 2.5 million people, who will receive an appropriately reduced benefit.

- PLN 3,000 gross pension is PLN 1,680.96 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 3,300 gross pension is PLN 1,380.96 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 3,600 gross pension is PLN 1,080.96 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 3,900 gross pension is PLN 780.96 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 4,200 gross of the pension is PLN 480.97 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 4,500 gross pension is PLN 180.96 gross of the “fourteenth pension”;
- PLN 4,600 gross pension is PLN 80.96 gross of the “fourteenth
The former government accuses the current authorities of reducing the 14th pension
In 2023, the “fourteenth” will be paid immediately before elections reached PLN 2,650 gross. However, as we reported, its actual amount was supposed to be lower, and due to Jarosław Kaczyński's mistake, the PiS government had to find additional billions of zlotys to pay. Despite this, in May of this year there were Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appealed to Donald Tusk to restore the 14th pension to the inflated level that his government adopted in 2023.
