According to “Fakt”, the Ministry of National Defense has already presented a draft regulation on this matter. The army assumes that in 2026 it can select over 200 private vehicles.

In the justification to the draft regulation, the Ministry of Defense explains that for the needs of military exercises and checking mobilization readiness, mainly trucks and special cars, including trailers-trains, can be used, but also vans, buses and passenger cars. “Their delivery to the appropriate military unit will remain the responsibility of the holder or will be carried out by the forces of the military unit, for which the benefit is performed” – adds the Ministry of National Defense.

“Fakt” reports that the owner who receives the decision of the Ministry of National Defense regarding his vehicle has the right to appeal within 14 days. However, he must remember that The appeal itself does not stop the obligation to make a decision. As we read, “in accordance with the regulations, the evasion of the obligation to benefit is a fine or arrest of up to 30 days.” The army will pay compensation to the owner after the vehicle complaint:
- For the use of passenger cars is a kilometer, which ranges from PLN 0.5214 per kilometer for vehicles up to 900 cm³ to PLN 0.8358 per kilometer for a higher engine capacity cars,
- For trucks (from 2 to 8 t) – the rate is to amount to PLN 490.83;
- for trailers, semi -trailers (for vehicles with a capacity of 2 to 8 t) – PLN 196.31;
- for machines for earthworks, construction, road and transhipment – PLN 439.26
The Ministry of National Defense intends to allocate PLN 136 million for payment. Journal He also adds that in connection with the military qualification planned for next year, the army also intends to take over 400 properties.
