The coalition government that took power in the country last year introduced pay rises for professional soldiers – recalls, among others, on Polish Armed Forces Day. “Fact”. And so the salary for privates increased to PLN 6,000 gross (previously PLN 4,960 – ed.). Information about finances and other benefits is also published by Polish Armywhich encourages recruitment.

And so: non-commissioned officers can count on a salary ranging from PLN 6,900 to PLN 8,000, officers – from PLN 8,400. A professional soldier who began his service before December 31, 2012, is entitled to a pension after 15 years of service. Soldiers who joined the army after January 1, 2013, can retire after 25 years of service.
