The collection for an ambulance for Ukraine is underway. “People keep asking me what they can do for Ukrainians”

– We have one percent, there will be a second – yes on Monday, just after the collection was launched, the founder, journalist of “Krytyka Polityczna” Sławomir Sierakowski, said.

– We have over half, and no 24 hours passed – later said Sławomir Sierakowski. This is also a song of the past. Although there is a lot of PLN 1.2 million to collect – PLN 1.2 million – the belt with the sum of the neck is growing.

Everything indicates that the money accumulated in Poland will be able to buy a military ambulance.

– I asked the Ukrainians what you need the most, and they said that after this cutting off the help of intelligence and recognition there, unfortunately, the losses increased terribly, and what is more, the Russians at these ambulances are aiming and this is absolutely their first need – emphasized Sławomir Sierakowski.

The collection of Sławomir Sierakowski is supported by Timothy Snyder, a world -famous American historian, friend of Poland and Ukraine.

– People are still asking me what they can do for Ukrainians, and especially for soldiers on the front, people who risk for us. Here is a good answer: get military ambulances to ensure their safety and keep them alive – Snyder pointed out.

– Every day someone dies, because someone cannot come for him and evacuate such a person in such a transport that is armored, who is safe – notes Żenia Klimakin, a Ukrainian journalist.

– States send a signal: no, not on the side of Russia, the side of Ukraine had to be erected. We send a signal to Europe: Poland is ready to set an example again, play this leading role, and Ukraine: you are not alone – says Sławomir Sierakowski about the whole action.

The Ukrainians were not alone when in the first year of the war at the unmanned Bayraktar, whom the producer eventually gave our defending neighbors for free, in the collection also initiated by Sierakowski, almost PLN 25 million was collected. Thanks to them, among others, a training center for soldiers and workshops for tanks were established. Three years later, Poles prove again that pro -Ukrainian moods are still in us.

– We are all the time cool, positive, ethical, moral, active, ready to pay. It is in us, and it is also in us at the moment when it is most necessary – says Sławomir Sierakowski.

For PLN 1.2 million, you will be able to buy one ambulance, a multiple of this sum will mean more such equipment.

An ambulance will buy the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, it will get the money collected.
