A railway disaster occurred in the Czech Republic. The freight train derailed in Hustopeče and stood in flames. Railway traffic has been suspended.
The train derailed on Friday before noon in Hustopeče. According to the portal of the Czech CT24 station, benzene – a flammable and toxic liquid – began to leak from a damaged tanker. Five wagons stood in flames. CT24 reports that firefighters have announced a special level of fire alarm. According to local information, no one was hurt.
Chemical rescue units were brought to the place. A firefighting action is expected. Witnesses say that the flames were visible from afar. Now a huge cloud of a black house is ongoing above the train.
The Czech railways said that the traffic on the line was suspended.

Barbara Sierszuła, a Polish journalist living in Prague, told TVN24 that there were messages so as not to leave and open the windows, because “smoke is threatening and dangerous”.
– It is known that five wagons are burning. (…) over fifty fire brigades work. Fortunately, there are no victims, but this is a great ecological disaster – she noted.
