Undermining the legality of elections, attacks on candidates

Election topics dominated websites from the week preceding the first round. The focus was on the legality of the election, attacks on some candidates and the promotion of other contenders for the presidency.

Two such unregistered candidates, Pavel Zitek and Jana Peterkova, were involved in disseminating disinformation via the Aeronet website. There were also allegations of election manipulation from the outside, by the media, courts and “supranational secret organizations”.

Manipulated video hitting Pavel

According to CHH, a widely shared and manipulated video appeared before the second round of the election, in which the later winner of the election, former chairman of the Military Committee FOR THIS Pavel declares that the Czech Republic must go to war with the Russian Federation, although in fact he has never stated it publicly.
