A passenger train and an expressway collided in the town of Milavcze near the town of Domażlice in the west of the Czech Republic. About 50 people are injured – according to the Czech media.
The collision took place after 8 am. According to information provided by Czech railways, one of the trains is an express train running on the Pilsen-Munich route, and the other is a smaller, passenger train.
The Czech Minister of Transport, Karel Havliczek, is going to the scene of the accident.
