12 years since the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek
In July, 12 years have passed since the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek. Prosecutors from the X-Files, operating in the Małopolskie Branch of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Krakow, are working on the case.
Iwona Wieczorek was last seen on the night of July 16/17, 2010. The then 19-year-old girl went to a club in Sopot with her friends after a barbecue on the plot. After leaving the disco, she returned home alone to Gdańsk. She was recorded by surveillance cameras in several places, but the girl never arrived home. For 12 years of searching, no trace of her has been found.
