In the Sejm about the e-mail scandal. This week there are new e-mails to come from private mailboxes in governance. MEPs commented on the publications. – The longer we read Mr. Dworczyk’s e-mails, the more we come to the conclusion that this government is one big pathology – admitted Katarzyna Lubnauer (KO). Mieczysław Baszko, MP from the PiS club, stated that there is no “big sensation” here, because “various e-mails are used to communicate”. – Private or business – he said.

Both Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the president of the Constitutional Tribunal, Julia Przyłębska, could have had a direct impact on the choice of the head of one of the new chambers of the Supreme Court – according to the e-mails disclosed, which are to come from the mailbox of the head of the office of Prime Minister Michał Dworczyk. The alleged correspondence also shows that Dworczyk could have persuaded the prime minister to dismiss, retroactively, the president of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Leszek Bosek, who was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court because he could not perform this function as a judge. The rulers are silent on this matter.

According to Katarzyna Lubnauer, a member of the Civic Coalition, “the prosecutor’s office should secure Mr. Dworczyk’s e-mails, because they are ready indictments.” – In this case, an indictment against Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, because it seems that he has backdated the official document so that everything fits in the papers – she explained. “It’s just a clerical crime,” she concluded.

PiS MP: there is no great sensation

Mieczysław Baszko (PiS club), when asked about this issue, replied that “it is necessary to carefully consider who is behind it”. He admitted that about a year ago, an e-mail leaked from his inbox as well. He described that it was correspondence with his assistant.

Baszko continued that the talks, whether in the government or local government, “have to be conducted somewhere”. To the attention that such correspondence should be used in business e-mails, the deputy replied: – I also use private and business services. Life situations are different. I want to emphasize that there is no such great sensation, because various e-mails, private or business, are used for communication, because very quick decisions have to be made and consulted. These are different times of the day and night – he argued.

Krzysztof Paszyk: lack of denial is an admission of guilt

The MPs’ deputy Krzysztof Paszyk said, in turn, that for him nothing new had emerged from the disclosed correspondence. – There are already such habits. There have been rules and regulations for a long time. It is done so that it works out for them, and that’s not surprising. This is just another proof of the image of a state in disintegration, a state that does not function according to the rules of law, but according to the rules of Law and Justice, and therefore without any procedure, without any rules of law – he said.

According to Paszyk, “the lack of a clear denial in this case is an admission of guilt.”
