This is a situation in which Poland, NATO and Ukraine should do as much as possible in the coming days to make the most of Putin’s weakness, which he showed, commented in “Fakty po Faktach” Professor Katarzyna Pisarska from the Casimir Foundation Pulaski and the Warsaw School of Economics. – There is now a breach in the grouping (military – ed.) of the Russian Federation, a huge breach, the most experienced unit in combat leaves the grouping – added Brigadier General Doctor Jarosław Kraszewski, former head of the Department of Supervision of the Armed Forces in the National Security Bureau.

On Saturday, the head of the Wagner Group – a private Russian military company – Yevgeny Prigozhin led an armed rebellion in Russia. The forces under his command departed from Ukraine in the “March of Justice”, the goal of which was to be Moscow. The Wagnerian troops approached the Russian capital to a distance of 200 kilometers. Ultimately, as a result of negotiations with Vladimir Putinmediated by the Belarusian dictator Alankandr Lukasheka, Prigozhin held off the assault and agreed to go to Belarusto avoid bloodshed, he said.

Professor Karolina Pisarska from the Foundation for Kazimierz Pułaski and the Warsaw School of Economics assessed that Vladimir Putin, as a result of the Wagnerian rebellion, “during the last 20 years of his office in the Kremlin, was not seen from the outside as such a weak leader as he is today”, which is supposed to be “an opportunity for Poland and Ukraine” to “ensure during the summit (FOR THIS – ed.) security guarantees in Vilnius (for Ukraine – ed.), including, of course, the promise of a quick accession to NATO.” – This is a situation in which Poland, NATO, Ukraine should do as much as possible in the coming days to maximize this Putin’s weakness, which he showed, should be exploited, she added.

Pisarska said that after taking power in Russia, Putin “subordinated everyone, his strength was that he was the tsar, the playmaker”, and the current situation is to be “breaking the pattern” in the Kremlin. – But it turned out that Prigozhin grew in strength, also because he became a legend. (…) People know that he was at the front (…) while Vladimir Putin is hiding somewhere – she added.

Kraszewski: there has now been a breach in the grouping of the troops of the Russian Federation

Brigadier General Dr. Jarosław Kraszewski, former head of the Department of Supervision over the Armed Forces in the National Security Bureau, stated, referring to the possible reasons for the mutiny, that in the face of “the news that the Wagner Group will be incorporated by law into the structure of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”, its members were “deprived of the will to fight” and decided to rebel. – It is as if the Minister of National Defense now said that he was dissolving GROM – he added.

Kraszewski also said that as a result of the Wagner Group leaving the front of the war with Ukraine, “there has now been a breach in the grouping (of the army – ed.) of the Russian Federation, a huge breach, the most experienced unit in combat is leaving the group.” – After these two days, Ukrainian propaganda should release information every now and then that someone is organizing a march on Moscow. This would totally destabilize the chain of command in the Kremlin and allow the Ukrainians to freely conduct a counter-offensive, he added.
