The tax administration will complete entrepreneurs’ tax returns, announced Deputy Minister of Finance Artur Soboń on Wednesday. As he noted, this will reduce the reporting burden on enterprises.

Deputy Minister Soboń reminded that currently only 5 percent declaration PIT are submitted in paper form. – Entrepreneurs will also receive a tool that will allow this declaration to be completed by the tax administration for them, and they will not have to waste time settling their taxes – Soboń said on Wednesday.

The deputy head of the Ministry of Finance also announced that the same will apply to VAT and excise duty. – If we introduce KSeF (National System of e-Invoices – ed.), which will come into force soon, we will show the way to a situation in which the VAT declaration will be completed automatically and the entrepreneur will not have to waste time filling out the VAT declaration. The same will happen with excise duty. If we integrate IT systems, and we want to do so in the near future, the excise tax declaration will also be completed for the entrepreneur – said Soboń. The deputy minister pointed out that they now offer a pre-filled VAT declaration Italy and Spain. He added that thanks to e-VAT there are fewer administrative obligations and more time for business development. Soboń said that in the case of excise duty, it is planned to introduce electronicization of excise records and link systems for movement, records and declarations, which – he emphasized – will reduce the reporting burden on enterprises.
