Joanna Osypowicz became known to viewers thanks to her participation in the eighth edition of the program “The farmer is looking for a wife”. She met Kamil in front of the cameras. The participants were viewers' favorites and their relationship developed quite quickly. First they announced their engagement and later they got married. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter Antonina. Although Joanna no longer appears in front of the cameras, she does not let herself be forgotten. She is active on social media, where she told Internet users the sad news about her family.

Joanna posted an entry on InstaStories in which she informed about the dramatic situation of her parents. A fire broke out in the tenement house they lived in. “On December 22, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m., a fire broke out in one of the tenement houses in Szamotuły. (…) This is the tenement house where my parents lived. They lived because, unfortunately, to this day they cannot return to their apartment until we rebuild what was burned, and unfortunately there is a lot of it,” wrote Joanna. A participant of the program mentioned the losses. “It burned completely whole staircasecorridor on the ground floor and on the first floor, all installations (electricity, water, gas). The fire was so strong that it also consumed the roof. The losses are huge,” she wrote. Despite the dramatic situation, Joanna is glad that no one was hurt by the fire. “The main hero was our beloved pet, the fearless dog Alex. If it weren't for him and his determination to wake up his parents, there's no telling how it could have ended,” she wrote.

Later in the entry, Joanna revealed the cause of the fire. “As it turned out, unfortunately, it was not an accident. Our tenement house was set on fire. They were the perpetrators two men, residents of Szamocin” – she wrote. Finally, the participant of the program “The farmer is looking for a wife” she appealed for help. “As I mentioned, the losses are huge. For this reason, we created a collection. Residents cannot afford such high repair costs,” wrote Joanna on InstaStories.
