Orlen launched the service base of the first Polish wind farm in the Baltic Sea
Group Orlen She launched the first operating and service base in Poland for the marine wind energy in Poland. The base in Łeba includes a service quay specially strengthened for its needs equipped with two cranes, space for ships for transporting crews (CTV), high storage warehouse for necessary equipment and spare parts as well as workshops and technical facilities for service crews and technicians. “The Orlen Group has reached another milestone in the development of the maritime wind energy” – we read in the press release.
Work is underway on Baltic Power
The base in Łeba supports ongoing installation works on sea square construction located about 23 km from the coast. They are currently ongoing work foundation, including monopal installation and transitional elements. The installation of wind turbines and sea cables will start in the coming weeks. On land, the construction of cable routes and power stations in the Choczewo commune runs according to the schedule.
When will the Baltic Power maritime farm start work?

The farm will be one of the first 15 MW wind turbines in the world.
