September in our southern neighbors, just like in us, was much warmer than usual. This is evidenced by the snowfall that was delayed for almost three weeks. Although it has already become more autumnal in the Czech Republic, it is possible that the heat will return to some parts of the country this week.
Last week brought a mixture of summer and winter to the Czech Republic. On Tuesday, October 3, heat records were broken, it was sunny and very pleasant. On Sunday, October 8, the first snow appeared. As climate experts pointed out, its rainfall occurred almost three weeks later than in 2022.
Over the next few days, the weather in the Czech Republic will be more typical of autumn. There may be occasional rainfall, and the temperature will reach 10 degrees Celsius in places. However, at the end of the week, heat will come to the country again and there will be regions where thermometers will reach 20-25 degrees Celsius at the warmest moment of the day.
