New aircraft: LOT Polish Airlines will have two new aircraft like Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner – said on Thursday, March 27, the president of the line Michał Fijoł. They will be used planes. The machines will strengthen the long -range mesh. The President of LOT explained that the planes cost almost a billion zlotys. Dreamliners will appear in the fleet of the Polish carrier in 2026 At the moment, machines fly in the colors of one of the Asian airlines.
There will be a tender: Michał Fijoł also said that within a few weeks a tender for the purchase of aircraft for the FLL LOT regional fleet would be decided. The concerns are fighting for the contract Airbus and Embraer. The President of LOT emphasized that a detailed analysis is necessary before the proceedings are necessary, because each parameter can have a large impact on operating costs. The flight wants to order 84 planeswhich will support both domestic and European connections. “New machines will increase the number of long -distance connections and open new routes provided in the strategy until 2028” – explained on Thursday the Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak.
How many Dreamliners does a flight have? Currently, the LOT's long-distance fleet consists of 15 aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Among them are eight machines in the 787-8 and seven version 787-9.
