On Thursday, the Free Courts Initiative presented its pre-election spot encouraging people to participate in the October parliamentary elections. The material emphasizes the importance of every vote cast and shows that when we do not vote in elections, others choose those in power for us.

The spot was posted on social media on Thursday by attorney Michał Wawrykiewicz from the Free Courts Initiative. “Let’s all go to the polls so that others don’t choose for us! See you on October 15 #MamGłos #WolneSądy” – he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The main slogan of the spot is “let’s all go to the polls so that others don’t choose for us.” The material, using the example of the right to terminate a pregnancy and visiting a gynecologist’s office, shows how a person who did not vote in the elections must face the consequences of the election results decided by those who voted.

In the second part of the spot, members of the Free Courts Initiative speak. – Those in power, deprived of control, violate women’s rights – says Sylwia Grzegorczyk-Abram. – In a democratic state of law, this would be impossible – adds Marta Ejchart-Dubois. – Only free and independent courts can effectively control the government and protect our civil rights – emphasizes Michał Wawrykiewicz. – Let’s all go to the polls so that others don’t choose for us – says Paulina Kieszkowska-Knapik at the end.
