The General Office of Building Supervision has provided a special email address, owocdz@gunb.gov.pl, to which you can send reports regarding buildings that require an urgent assessment of their technical condition after the flood, the office announced on Thursday. The office asks for prudence and emphasizes that “in such situations, the most important thing is safety and exercising special caution.”
“The Chief Inspector of Building Supervision has created a special e-mail address to which you can report objects requiring urgent assessment by building supervision. This is an additional way of contacting building supervision, in the case of using the possibility of contact at the local level,” the Chief Office of Building Supervision (GUNB) informed on Friday.
GUNB provides email address
“To the email address owocdz@gunb.gov.pl You can report the location of houses or other facilities that were significantly damaged by the flood wave,” said the Chief Inspector of Building Supervision Dorota CabaÅ„ska, quoted in the press release.
As CabaÅ„ska pointed out, the address can be used by anyone in need. “Nevertheless, I appeal to report those facilities that, due to significant damage, require the most urgent assessment by employees of construction supervision authorities,” she added.
According to GUNB information, the additional possibility of contacting construction supervision is intended to be used in the event of using the possibility of contacting construction supervision at the local level. “This is particularly important where the waters begin to recede and it becomes possible to reach flooded buildings. In such situations, the most important thing is safety and taking special care,” emphasized CabaÅ„ska.
