Aleksandra Mirosław won the only Polish gold at the Olympic Games in Paris. The 30-year-old performed brilliantly and twice broke the world record in timed sport climbing. Since August, it has been 6.06 s. In the final, her time was 0.04 s slower, but she still easily defeated Lijuan Deng. – “Dreams come true”. It was the long-awaited moment – she said right after the victory.

Mirosław's attitude in Paris made an impression on almost the whole world. She was congratulated not only by fans and experts, but also by renowned athletes. After months, one of the legends also admitted that the Pole made a big impression on her. Who are we talking about?
That person is Sven Hannawald. A few days ago, the ski jumping legend gave an interview to weszlo.comin which she spoke mainly about Polish jumpers and diagnosed the problems they face. At the end of the conversation, the topic of Mirosław was raised. It turned out that the German also practices sport climbing with his son, but as a hobby. – Such activity builds our bond and helps us calm down. We love this time spent together. Climbing is also a good form of training, Hannawald emphasized.

And then the journalist remembered Mirosław, who is a champion in this discipline. And it turned out that the German had watched her feat in Paris. – I recognize her! My son and I watched the games in Paris and saw him win in great style – he began. However, this was not the end of compliments towards the Polish woman.
– I was fascinated by how quickly he could run to the top. In general, I love seeing how easy something can seem for the greatest masters. My son and I also said to each other: “It's OK, she does it in a few seconds, but it would probably take us several times longer”… – commented Hannawald.
Another busy season for Mirosław. A big party on the horizon
Now Mirosław faces new challenges. The Pole will join, among others, in the World Cup, and one of the competitions will take place in Krakow. – Together with the Kałucki sisters, we can take the entire podium, which has already happened during the World Cup competition. To repeat this feat would be something beautiful. We will definitely have unique competitions ahead of us, emphasized the Olympic champion. The World Cup will be preceded by the most important event of 2025, the World Championships in Seoul, South Korea (September 21-28).
