Office Premiere announced the adoption of the budget act for 2025, announced on Wednesday (August 28) at the hour 13. A press conference of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Minister of Finance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Andrew Domański, during which additional details of the act will most likely be presented. However, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, head of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, has already lifted the veil of secrecy.
The government has adopted the draft budget act for 2025. Increase in housing expenditure and lack of subsidies for loans
Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz informed in an entry on the X portal that the government the budget allocates PLN 4.3 billion for housing – 50 percent more than last year. She also added that the budget includes “a round zero zloty for a zero percent loan” – a program of subsidies for housing loans. “Worse news: we have a decision to make about the reserve covering PLN 1.6 billion of this amount. The zero percent loan also deserves zero zloty from this pool, and social housing deserves as much money as possible. This will be my position at tomorrow's (Thursday, August 29 – ed.) Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers,” the head of the ministry informed.
