At Kontakt 24, we received photos and a recording from Tuchów (Małopolskie Voivodeship), which show damaged, hole-filled panels of the house after a hailstorm.

– I ran to the porch, I was terrified – said Mr. Marcin, the author of the materials and a resident of the damaged house.

The hailstorm happened on Tuesday afternoon. – It was somewhere around 4 pm. We have PVC panels on the house. I was in my room at the time, reading a book, with the window open. Suddenly I heard the wind whistling, I noticed that the wind was struggling, the sky was overcast. I was expecting a storm, he said. The man admitted that he did not expect hail. “Suddenly, within two or three seconds, it started to rain out of nothing. I ran to the porch, I was terrified. It was pounding so hard that you couldn’t see anything. It was raining at an angle, diagonally, and that’s why there was so much damage,” he added. Mr. Marcin indicated that he was waiting for an inspection. – Such big holes in the house as now, it’s the first time this has happened. Our house is insured. Once it passed, we measured the area of ​​damage. The two front walls of the house are destroyed. The insurer is to come for inspection, he added.
