Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) have issued second-degree meteorological warnings on a three-point, ascending scale.
IMWM warnings of the second degree – heat
Orange alerts apply in the following provinces:
- West Pomeranian, with the exception of the SÅ‚awno district;
- Pomeranianin the counties of Bytów, Chojnice, Człuchów;
- Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeshipfor the following counties: Tuchola, Sępolno, Bydgoszcz, BydgoszczNakło, Żnin, Inowrocław, Mogilno;
- lubuskie;
- Greater Poland;
- Lower Silesianwith the exception of the following counties: Kłodzko, Wałbrzych, WalbrzychKamienna Góra, Karkonosze, Jelenia GoraLubań and Lwówek;
- Opole;

Maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius. Warnings will be valid until 7 p.m. Monday.
First degree IMWM warnings – heat
First degree warnings were issued for the following provinces:

In these places, thermometers will show 29 to 32 degrees Celsius during the day, and the minimum temperature at night will reach 15 to 17 degrees Celsius. The warnings will be valid until 7 p.m. on Monday.
