Recruitment in the financial industry

The demand for specialists in the finance industry remained stable last year. Companies were first looking for experienced experts and managers to strengthen teams and improve key processes. Most job offers concerned the following positions: finance manager, chief and independent accountant and financial controller.

However, the demand for candidates for positions that do not require experience and are dominated by simple, repetitive activities has decreased. This is due to the automation and digitization of processes – it was indicated.

– Tasks that once required the involvement of large teams are now performed by a much smaller group. The profile of desired competences is also changing – specialists are sought who can operate systems, analyze data and make decisions based on them – explained Dagmara Jaworecka, quoted in the release.
