The investigation into mobbing in Ireneusz Jaki's company has been discontinued. No pattern of “reasonable sacrifice”
Employees alleged that he raised his voice, belittled them and publicly called out their incompetence. Or that he violated bodily integrity by trying, among other things, kiss a subordinate. In the opinion of the prosecutor's office in Ĺwidnica, which investigated the accusations against former president Ireneusz Jaki, the employees are unreliable. – The prosecutor's decision is a failure of the justice system. The justification stated that we were emotionally unstable and therefore we considered the president's behavior threatening. In a word, we came up with mobbing – comments one of the WiK Opole employees.
- The District Prosecutor's Office in Ĺwidnica discontinued the investigation into mobbing and violation of employee rights, which was allegedly committed against subordinates by the former president of the Water and Sewage System in Opole, Ireneusz Jaki, privately the father of MEP Patryk Jaki.
- In justification of the decision, prosecutor MaĹgorzata Czajkowska stated that the employees did not meet the standard of the so-called “reasonable sacrifice”. Because if mobbing really happened, they would, for example, change their job.
- The prosecutor's office emphasizes that an expert psychologist found emotional disorders, instability and irritability in some of the employees who accused Jaki. This means that they may have assessed the situation at work inadequately and their testimony should be treated “with great caution.”
- In the opinion of the prosecutor's office, the president's behavior is that of a demanding person.
- In the same investigation, the prosecutor's office investigated allegations of violations of employee rights by Agnieszka MaĹlak and Sebastian ParoĹ, vice-presidents of the company in conflict with Jaki. She also closed this thread.
