Two lows over Central Europe draw cold air from the north and northwest to us. It is cool, rainy and cloudy. The beginning of September does not look any better.

For several days we have been “teased” by the lows located above Central Europe. They bring rain to Poland. – We expect rainy weather in this part of Europe all the time – Tomasz Wasilewski, tvnmeteo.pl presenter said in “Get up and weekend” on TVN24. “At the same time it is chilly because the lows draw cold air from the north and northeast,” he added.

On Sunday morning, the temperature in Scandinavia and northern Russia dropped to -2 or -3 degrees Celsius. – At the same time, when we complain about cloudy, sometimes rainy weather in the lowlands, in the west of the continent, over Great Britain and Ireland, there is a high. He brings warm air to Western and Southern Europe and even Norway, to Bergen. The next day Icelanders have 20 degrees on thermometers, Norwegians 22 degrees – said the tvnmeteo.pl presenter.

US meteorologists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Service (NOAA) have published a map showing the temperature anomaly for September.

– Wherever there is a white color, the temperature in September will be in line with the long-term standard – Wasilewski explained. – Where there is blue, as shown on the scale, the temperature will be below the multi-year average. When we look at Poland, we can see that the temperature here will either be in line with the long-term average or, as in the western part of the country, a bit lower – he added. The beginning of September, according to forecasts, may be cold.
