From Portugal, through Spain, France, to Croatia and Greece – there is no shortage of fabulous beaches in Europe. Both the popular and hidden existences, which are guarded by local residents. The editors of “The Telegraph” decided to select 40 beaches that should become the target of the trip during this year's holidays.
During a trip to Spain It is worth visiting Playa de Bolonia. “Popular among nature lovers, surfers and everyone interested in souvenirs after Roman times, thanks to the fascinating archaeological complex of Baelo Claudia” – the editors describes this place in the province of Kadiks. A characteristic feature of this beach are also dunes. One of them is up to 30 meters.
Beaches in Europe worth seeing
Another paradise corner in Spain is Praia de Rodas – a beach located on the islands of CÃes, in Galicia, where “white sands contrast with the pine forest and the cold Atlantic” and where “is quiet, clean and beautiful”. In the country of Toreadors, the beaches of La Concha, Playa de Poo, Praia as Catedrais, Platja de Treumal and Platja de Formistor deserve attention.
Visiting Portugalit is worth tempting to rest on the beaches of Porto Santo, Praia da Adraga, Praia Flvial de Monsraz, Praia to Barril or Praia Do Cabedelo. The latter may deserve special attention. “Most people stick to the southern coast, but the northern coast of Portugal is also full of beaches, often less crowded. Praia to Cabedelo is located among the dunes and a pine forest. The waves here are ideal for surfing especially for beginners and intermediate surfers” – describes the editors.

“Telegraph” also included places in northern Europe. Among them are the Binz beach on the German island of Rugia – near the border with Poland, Norwegian Haukland, Danish Blokhus and Sandhamaren in the Swedish city of Skania.
